Torque arm

To provide a "brake out" of the hub motor, i've made two torque arms.
On top they will be fixed with a water hose clamp.

Gas throttle for crystalyte hub motor.

The original crystalyte thumb throttle won't fit, so i made a throttle of my own.
I can regulate the speed with a potentiometer and there is also a swith for the "cruise" function.

Transportbox part III

Now the small side panels are ready.
They are fixed with some alu strips through the frame holes.

Transportbox part II

The basis for the transportbox is now finished.
I've integrated a small box for the Crystalyte controller as well.

Bullitt transportbox

Now the woodworking part has started.
I use Poplar multiplex, very light weight in 12mm.
I want to make a bottom-, front- and rear panel and 2 sets of sidepanels.
One with an height of 30 cm , another with 60 cm, that also is variabel in width (max 70 cm).

Shimano E-type front shifter.

As i said before, there  was a problem with the mounting of a normal  front shifter on my bullitt, the saddle tube is 45 mm thick , so no normal shifter can be mounted..

I ordered now a new E-type front shifter with a special brace that fit around the bottom bracket.

The special brace and the bullitt frame  has no cable stop. So i must add one. 

I mounted all the necessary parts, so now the drivetrain is complete.

Battery support

I want to mount the battery under the loadplatform of my bullitt, so i have to make a battery support.
I used a ready-rack profile for that and welded it together.
Paint job is planned for next week.

Framekit arrived and first disappointment

Last Wednesday I drove to Amsterdam to pick up the Bullitt frame.
My first disappointment is a fact.

The frame has no narrowing down the saddle tube to mount the front shifter, while I already have the parts purchased..

The frame came with a speedlifter as well, while I already purchased one, the same for the saddle clamp.

I've returned the front shifter and the 48T crank to bikecomponents.de and exchanged them for a E type front shifter with a bottom bracket support.

In the mean time i mounted alle the bullitt parts and some parts i've already purchased.

Crystalyte HS 2440 on the workbench

I have the hub motor from Crystalyte already connected on my workbench.
The voltage is supplied by a powersupply because i haven't received the  LiFePO4 battery yet..
I can set all parameters in the APM display, but I can not run the motor for the moment.
Why? I don't know.
It is possible that i have also rotate the wheel together with the crank PAS sensor.

Milk Plus framekit ordered

On October 12, I ordered a frame kit by DrBeyk in Amsterdam.
Good and fast email communication with this bike supplier.

The kit will arrive in Amersterdam the middle of November.
It's a Milk Plus frame because the Clockwork frames are no longer available this year.
